It's $5.299 in my area. I last filled up at $4.999 last Friday.

went to $4.79 yesterday, but one station still has 88 octane for $4.04 for some reason.  I expect they'll catch up today.

Same here.

Thank goodness that our fearless leader just authorized the use of the Defense Production Act to ramp up domestic production of solar panels(and allow more cheap Chinese imports) so we'll all be able to charge our shiny new electric cars.

And if you didn't think rising gas prices were part of the Biden's plans, his EPA has raised the amount of ethanol and biodiesel refiners are required to blend into the fuel they produce.

At a time when refining capacity is stretched to the limit and corn and soybean prices are near all time highs?

Oh, and the EPA said it's denying ALL exceptions for small refineries that their new requirement may cause financial hardship.

China's investment in the Bidens are paying off rather nicely.

The place I normally buy gas held steady @ $4.74 for the past few weeks, and just jumped to $5.19 this past weekend.

I have not even looked for a few days, but gas was $4.79 earlier this week. Thus I parked the truck on the side of teh garage and bought a new ride (new to me). My wife found it on FB marketplace. 2012 Impreza sport 2.0i. 145K miles for $4200. Specs say 27/36 mpg, much better than the 12/14 I get in the truck. I'm still debating on whether I will sell the truck or not. I love driving it, but if I can't afford it, I really can't stand making payments on a truck I can't drive.
