I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

Politicians that want lobbyist money and votes.

Jeff

Does Canada allow lobbyists? I have no clue about their voting system.

Texas or the south east, Georgia, North and South Carolina
Warning, a Canadian native may find the climate is these places a little warm
but I'm thinking that might be a good thing after half a lifetime of Canadian winters

Really depends what you're looking for...there are several areas that might fit the bill for you.

In the northest, the ONLY place I would recommend is New Hampshire....the rest of the 6 new england state are political crap and all the shit that accompanies that with it...

The Carolina's can be a nice place to go...any place in the Southeast, you will deal with humid summer conditions. In the northeast we get some but not as much...

Florida....depends where, central FL can be very nice....but it's can be very crowded.

Cnetral US can be nice but in my mind anyway, Tornado alley is something I would try to avoid...

Texas...my granddaughter is in Houston at this point...she loves the big city...there is plenty of work and plenty of people who are rather proud of just being from Texas...

Left coast I wouldn't even consider....

NH, FL & TX all have no state income tax....there are a couple others I believe that I don't recall but not many..

All good suggestions so far.
I would add Tennessee to that short list of states I would live in as well.

I was going to say the same thing.

I heard somewhere recently that Michigan is on the precipice of booming again. Don't know how true that is, but I hope it is.
The Metro Detroit area has a shit ton of machine shops, as far as Auburn Hills which is another booming mfg city.

Serious question, Jeff.
What are the prospects of getting Whitmer voted out, and when is her current term ending?

As an outside observer, I see her as a huge part of the problem in Michigan.
I don't foresee anything booming with her as your Governor.
