A Florida homeowner will "absolutely not" face charges after firing an "AK-47-style gun" at suspected home invaders, a local sheriff said.

"He started shooting for his own protection, to get them out of his house and to protect himself," Escambia County Sheriff Chip Simmons said of the recent shooting in a video address posted to the office's official Facebook page.

That has been stuck down once already by the SC... but they are taking another run at it.

They are also working on a law requiring a liability insurance policy for every gun you own.
I don't know if that one is law yet.
That will be interesting because I doubt any insurance company will sell a policy like that
for any affordable price.

It's great with the supreme Court. Did what they should have done 200 years ago with the brewing decision finally.
