Quote from: JParis on July 18, 2022, 09:55 AMWe have a Simon owned Mall in Manchester, NH as well...and thier policy and how they push it is exactly why I'll never step foot in there..

They have on many more than one occasion called the police on people they were able to determine we're concealing a firearm and had them removed from the property.

In NH, that's all they can do....Security will escort them outside, the Popo show up and let the person know he's free to leave the property or that if he decides to try to stay, they will arrest and charge the individual with tresspassing....in this state that's their only recourse....if you leave, nothing they can do.

So, I will never step foot or give dollar 1 to any business in the Mall...
You can vote by boycott and by owning shares of Simon. It's a popular stock, actually.
Not sure how to get something like this up for shareholder voting. Institutional ownership (i.e. leftist) of this might make it impossible.

THe number of times I've been in a shopping mall in the last 30 years I can count on 2 hands with fingers to spare. I'm just not a fan. Parking sucks. It's more expensive. Just not my thing. That said, 100% I am carrying when I enter one. If I am caught, though if I am, I'm not doing CCW right, I will voluntarily leave no need to make a scene or call the police or even escort me. I have NO desire to be made famous. I just want to live out my life in as peaceful matter as possible.

QuoteThe Greenwood Park Mall shooter began firing at 5:56:48PM.

15 SECONDS LATER, at 5:57:03, 22-year-old Eli Dicken carrying under the new NRA-Backed Constitutional Carry law, fired 10 rounds from 40 yards, hitting the shooter 8 times. The shooter collapsed & died.

Could have name this thread "2 weeks and 15 seconds; 8 out of 10 ain't bad"

Two weeks after constitutional carry was passed. 22-year-old civilian drops a sicko within 15 seconds. Lands 8 out of 10 at 40 yards on a kinetic target.
 Badass.
Almost as badass as the church civilian number of years ago. That did a headshot on a running shooter, one and done

 Badass...

Yeah, you can't overstate this level of badassery.

I am confident I could hit 80% on a man sized target at 40 yards with my trusty 1911.

But a moving target that's shooting back? Not likely.

I kinda wonder if the good guy winged the bad guy early on and closed the distance to put him down.

By all accounts, the good guy is just a hick from the sticks with no formal training.

That's what I am seeing as well.....BUT hitting a target with a handgun from 40 feet away for someone who hasn't had any training, that just doesn't compute...

Now, maybe he shoots with buddies and such and has never taken paid training but HE HAS BEEN TRAINED....

Even the Chief of Police has stated, "he did everything tactically correct"

That's not luck or by accident

That's why I said no "formal" training.

Us Indiana farmboyz don't call it training when we round up some buddies and expend large volumes of ammo.

We call it goin shootin. :fun:

Might be just me but practicing shooting while moving, utilizing tactical cover, moving along a crowd, is maybe a "little" bit beyond just gone shootin'...

But your overall point is taken

I don't know anything about this kid, but he may have grown up being around guns and was shooting them since he was young'in. He could be a natural. I dunno. But he took that p.o.s. down quick that's all I know.
