I had to go get a set of cheaters at Walgreens last year because I couldn't read the model number on the bottom of my cable box anymore.  Now I find myself using them all the time to read heating instructions on packages.  My close up vision is horrible.
I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

I keep some +1.25 cheaters at work in my tool box. I need them when I am in the back of a machine working on wiring. The writing on the terminals is so small. I also keep a pair at home on the kitchen counter so they are close by when I am cooking or have to read other instructions.

The worst is first thing in the morning when I wake up. I need about 5-10 minutes of open eyes before I can read a text on my phone.

I just couldn't ever get used to bifocals. It's like the whole world is on a seesaw.

My wife has trouble with hers...I have used progressives since I started...first 2 days were weird but I got used to them very quickly

Yup. It must be.

The magnifying glass app on my phone gets a hammering nowadays. Even some insert packets require the app now.

I have a pair of those here at work.  I can't wear them.  I start to get a headache after about 15 minutes. There is too much change in them so I feel like I'm walking around hammered. :D 

I do have a pair at home that is more for close up and computer monitor distance. I can wear those just fine.
