Mr.M

I started learning machining when I was 16 and was getting to program the Accurite controlled CNC Bridgeport knee mills pretty quickly. I convinced one of the 2nd year students to help me get going on them as soon as our basic manual mill class was done.

Started at 17 on a ProtoTrak MX2 Bridgeport.  The mind boggles at some of the parts I managed to get that thing to make.

Cheers

1987 my first year in tech school. The shop I was fortunate enough to work at was a beta tester back then =)

My second year of tech school I got out of having to do any setups on the turntable by doing extra credit projects on the Cnc mill at where I was working =) . I don't regret that one bit!
