The slippery slope of gay marriage has turned into a mud slide. New York Judge says it's time for gay polygamy

QuoteIn her ruling in the case West 49th St., LLC v O'Neill on Sept. 23., Bacdayan raised the possibility that the three men could have constituted a "family-like relationship."

Two same-sex union cases — New York's Braschi v. Stahl Assocs. Co. and the Supreme Court's Obergefell v. Hodges — did not go far enough in expanding the definition of relationships, she said.

"In sum, the problem with Braschi and Obergefell is that they recognize only two-person relationships," she said in her decision, before citing Judge Joseph W. Bellacosa's concurring judgment in Braschi.

"Those decisions, while revolutionary, still adhered to the majoritarian, societal view that only two people can have a family-like relationship; that only people who are 'committed' in a way defined by certain traditional factors qualify for protection from 'one of the harshest decrees known to the law—eviction from one's home.'"

She concluded: "Those decisions, however, open the door for consideration of other relational constructs; and, perhaps, the time has arrived."

Since a main tenant of marriage is to keep track of who the parent of children are has gone out the window with gay marriage, why not polygamous gay marriage? Goats?

I would prefer sheep. They're not as hard on your feet when their back legs are in the rain boots.

I seem to recall publicly stating that Polygamy would become legal in my lifetime. I was told in no uncertain terms that was "preposterous". I stand by that statement. I think it will become legal inside of 15 years.

Pedophilia WILL be next.

I said the same to my lesbian niece that the LGBT.... opened up Pandora's box. She and her wife are married now for 8 years, but have also had side pieces the whole time. They claim to be poly blah blah...told her a while back that the pedo were next and you LGBTQ... opened the door for them.. of course she said no way...
And now surprise her wife is pregnant, that'll be one fucked up kid.... Rome is burning!!

Not everyone in the gay/lesbian community supports the crap that is being pushed now. There is a group called "gays against grooming" that got big enough to get banned on Twitter for speaking out against the insane drag shows at elementary schools and events targeting kids. The left(AKA the Devil) doesn't allow dissent so the ban came quickly.

This is true.

There's been more than a few gay/lesbian folks that were part of the movement in the 80's and 90's when push for normalization/sanctioning of same-sex marriages really came to a head, who have stated publicly words to the effect of that had they known that their push for equality was going to open the doors that it has, they would have continued to keep their lifestyles private.

The interviews I've seen (I think like 3 different individuals on a couple different "news" outlets), I could see what appeared to be genuine remorse because ultimately many in that lifestyle realize that children have been/are being exploited and/or harmed on their altar of "equality", and they NEVER wanted that. The left though... they are SO desperate to drive the narratives that they will literally sanction child exploitation to get another vote. And people will succumb to the bullying and will blindly check that "D" instead of the "I" or "R" that they know they should check.

First it was for gay "rights". Ok marriage equality in the eyes of the state. While I have a problem with the state thing I 100% support the equality part.
Slippery slope of the state part of it has turned California In a real fascist way. Now the patients in the asylum are the arbiters of whether or not regular people are to be sued into oblivion with employment law changes.
If someone with gender dysphoria decides that a co-worker is discriminating against them, that coworker is now personally liable by law. First place in the nation for personal liability. And a fucking crazy person gets to decide.
