Average amount of rain here too lately.

I know this is the worst time of year for all you Kali folks when the weather is dry and the desert winds are kicking up.
I hope there are no big fires this year like the one there a couple of years ago.

Weather isn't real, it's reported by the fake news media

Quote from: Del. on October 21, 2022, 01:01 PMFrom late June to now I bet we have had 2.5 months of no rain. Rest of the time it rained heavily. 2 weeks rain then a month of drought. My small crop survived.  Lol

Seriously??

Check the Ohio when they stop barge traffic I would be concerned.

we are at normal.

scare tactics.

P.S. most of the weed growers have an alternate source of water.

I knnnnnnnow I don't have to ask if you have considered peeing on your crop. ;)

The neighbors all know. :o

Or you could empty the Hot tub. ;D

Yeah, that's a water management issue base on a court case, not a climate issue.  I'm still watering my lawn. If the government wants to play stupid games, they're gonna win stupid prices.

Doesn't help when there are 1000s of illegal (cartel controlled) pot grow houses in southern Kali that can't be shut down. And each one uses 1000s of gallons of (stolen) water each day.

I read a few years ago the Colorado river water doesn't make it to the Pacific ocean anymore.

The river bed goes dry after Los Algadones Mexico on the border. However it is dammed up shortly after the border and diverted in canals to farms and such in Mexico.

The Corps of Engineers is constructing a levee to stop salt water intrusion into the Mississippi because the water levels are so low. So I don't think That the Mississippi is going to solve California's shortage.

I could be remembering it wrong, but I want to say it had something to do with the Northern areas of the Mississippi and diverting water somewhere.

But I've been wrong once before.

If everyone adopted a plant based diet annual water use would drop by some estimates of up to 52%. Just saying  ;)

I live in Michigan and am surrounded by water so a meat diet works just fine here. :P

I wouldn't go so far as to say a meat diet works "just fine" just because you have adequate water.

I'm just saying meat has more than enough water here so meat water use doesn't mean much.
