So far I haven't hated it.

Not happy that the control panel is gone, but most of the settings that I want are still available in other ways.

First day playing with it. I'll see how she likes it.

I notice that MS has already made it difficult or impossible to get the windows 10 start menu back.  That, I don't like. I had a specific way that I liked to organize my applications tiles and it was super convenient. Not sure I can do that in Windows 11.

my wife is about due for a new cell phone and I am dreading it.

haha. She's pretty flexible when it comes to that stuff. Technically, I own the computer anyway.

She kinda likes Windows 11. Does that mean that I should hate it?

OK, second go at Windows 11.  They've made some changes to the start menu so I figured that I would give it a go. No guinea pig this time.   So far the best I can say is that I don't mind it.   I miss having a quick launch menu.

I'm using it at home on a gaming computer.

I won't update any of my normal use computers until I know that I'll not *hate* it. :D

I was having periodic blue screen of death issues that always blamed the graphics driver. It only happened when connected to my docking station via the Thunderbolt port of my Dell precision laptop. Our IT guy suggested doing all updates, including Windows 11. That was about a month ago. So far everything works great. No issues with Win 11 and TopSolid that I have noticed. Some things have moved or look different, but really doesn't feel all that different as far as I am concerned.

My reason for updating, is lack of Widows 10 fixing a known issue with multiple monitors when using display port.  The windows constantly rearrange when the monitors go to sleep. They fixed the issue in Windows 11. There was supposed to be an update for Windows 10 but they conveniently only made it available in Windows 11.

I was using a 3rd party application for remembering window positions but I don't like doing that if I don't have to.

I like Win 11, much more stable.
The only thing I don't like is when you shut down, it doesn't really shut down.
It's more like hibernation. that's how it boots up so fast when you power on.
You have to Restart to really reboot the system.
