No idea... to be practical they would have to be small and light enough that a man could change them manually
In the future, these exchange stations would be robotized.
Obviously, car manufacturer's would have to standardize battery systems for this to work

It's not feasible now but at some point it will be... or they will have to come up with new battery technology
that can be recharged in time similar to what a fill up at a gas station takes

Thus the push for solid state batteries that are projected to fully charge in about 15 minutes and give you about a 600 mile range on that charge.

I have a cheaper one that I take in the camp van and boat. very handy cause you dont have to have another vehicle to jump to. I just make sure is charged before I take a trip.

Quote from: Smit on November 29, 2022, 06:26 PMAnybody have any experience with the portable jump starters? I'm thinking of getting a couple to keep in our cars in case of an emergency, both for the wife and I and anybody else who needs a jump starter.

This is the one I''m looking at on Amazon. Lots of good reviews but the bad ones are pretty bad.

Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences.

I could live with those stats.

Still can't get behind the fact Clintons CAN and WILL hack into the auto drive features of the cars of their adversaries and that's gonna be the end of them. If it's connected to the interwebz, it's insecure. Period.
