Snow Extent in the Northern Hemisphere now Among the Highest in 56 years

Snow extent in the Northern Hemisphere at the end of November represents an important parameter for the early winter forecast. This year snow extent is running much higher than average and according to existing global estimates, it is now beyond the highest ever observed so far. Winter forecast, especially in its early phase and in Europe, might be strongly influenced by such a large snow extent, although many other factors need attention.

Global Warming Where Are You?

The older I get the colder I feel. Winters suck.

We normally keep the thermostat at 65 in the winter. Occasionally we will bump it up to 68 is someone is sick. I don't know that we can go any lower if costs get too high. Our dryer and water heater are electric so the only gas is the furnace. Hopefully the bill will be manageable.

The older I get the colder I feel. Winters suck.

The older I get the warmer I feel. Last year 27° would get me to put on a jacket. This year I dropped it to 25° and so far no issues and no jacket.

I laughed at my German Shepard the other day
He is a soft SoCal city dog.
Last week when we got up it was a chilly 44°F
He got up to go pee, stuck his head out the dog door and pulled it right back in
He looked at me like "Nope, not goin' out there, dad."
I told him he was a disgrace to his breed. He finally went outside and did his business
but he was not happy about it

It always cracks me up...here in SoCal they warn people to bring their pets in when the Temps get into the 40's. 

They have FUR. Dogs are designed for outdoors.

Follow the proven science since Global warming was proven science back then. Climate change happens every single day in one way or the other. I thought Science was about provable fact and not unproveable facts, but I am just the dummy in the room as always.

Funny my wife was seeing more people are dying from Covid that were vaccinated than unvaccinated. Get the Vaccine to stop the spread. Wear masks to stop the spread. How is that Proven Science working out?
