I have to wonder if this is an intentional "wag the dog" distraction. Musk/Twitter have been releasing damning evidence of big tech and .gov election interference and intentional voter suppression/manipulation. They need a good distraction to keep the right fixated on.

I have no idea what it is all about, but the total news blackout makes me thing there is something there

Looking at the actual video of the cars and their damage, the damage was limited to the engine bay of all of the burned cars. That would dispute the evidence inside of the cars theory. However, if you wanted to destroy the ECM's GPS or other data you could just burn the front end of the cars.
