I have been following it. I don't think it is Random.

To many variables. To many loose ends neatly sewed up.

whoever may have done this knew a lot about them.

6 people in the house 4 are dead. 2 left unscathed.

why not kill them all?

Don't leave a witness.

some were tortured. were they already in the house waiting?

No leads after a month.

Does anybody know where Hunter was ???? :)

Del.

From the autopsy I'd say he had to be someone who was
big and strong.

I can't imagine the anguish the families are going through, but that one dad needs to be told by somebody to STFU.

Looks like they caught the guy. I'm thinking they knew who it was all along but refrained from giving that info so he wouldn't be tipped off.

I hope they have the right guy.

I hope they have the evidence to prove it.

I hope Idaho has the death sentence.

And if it's not, it should be these days.

So it turns out they caught the guy right here in my area.
Good on small town Moscow Pa. police department for capturing the suspect.

Yes, I also believe investigators in Idaho had this guy on their radar very early in the investigation but kept it quiet to let him think he was in the clear.

And yes, bagging the hands of the victims is a forensic measure designed to preserve DNA evidence that may be there as a result of the victims fighting back.
It's very difficult for a murder suspect to explain how his DNA gets under the fingernails of a victim when he almost always claims he wasn't there.

This guy is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, but if he did do it I hope they have a slam-dunk case that will put him in a grave, or keep him in a cage for the rest of his miserable life.

Turns out that one of the persons unharmed saw the killer dressed in black with face completely covered also and they heard crying and him saying " I'm here to help you "
Killer left DNA on leather sheath found in house.

He was pulled over twice In Indiana as planned to obtain video of his hands and face to see if there were injuries to them.

Just awesome police work.

Indiana State Police have repeatedly denied that. But it just keeps getting reported.

There are a lot of things don't add up, to me about the people in the house that survived. a girl reported seeing the suspect brush past her and she got scared and froze then locked herself in her room. The murders were believed to have happened at 4am. 911 was called at noon. the suspects phone pinged at the location at 9am. In the 911 call the caller thought her roommate was passed out after being stabbed to death, had to be a lot of blood. I don't know if the reporting is just that bad or what happened but none of that makes any sense.

No matter the source, reporting these days seems to be less than reporting from the past. I think it comes down to being first is the primary goal and being correct is somewhere down around 3 or 4, and sadly that is probably overly optimistic.

The more sensational the story, the more likely there are to be errors of fact. In MANY cases, errors central to the case.

Quote4 a.m. to 4:17 a.m.

The filing didn't include a specific time when Kohberger allegedly entered the house, but it included three major actions during this time frame.

The first was D.M. waking up at about 4 a.m. to what sounded like Goncalves playing with her dog, but a "short time later, D.M. said she heard who she thought was Goncalves say something to the effect of 'there's someone here,'" the affidavit says.

"A review of records obtained from a forensic download of Kernodle's phone showed this could also have been Kernodle as her cellular phone indicated she was likely awake and using the TikTok app at approximately 4:12 a.m," according to the affidavit.

D.M. looked out of her bedroom but didn't see anyone. She opened her door again when she heard crying from Kernodle's room and "a male voice say something to the effect of, 'it's ok, I'm going to help you,'" the affidavit says.

Finally, D.M. opened her door a third time and saw "a male figure clad in black clothing and a mask that covered the person's mouth and nose walking towards her," according to the affidavit.

"D.M. described the figure as 5'10" or taller, male, not very muscular, but athletically built with bushy eyebrows. The male walked past D.M. as she stood in a 'frozen shock phase.' The male walked towards the back sliding glass door. D.M. locked herself in her room after seeing the male."

She told police that she didn't recognize him.
4:17 a.m.

A security camera located less than 50 feet from Kernodle's bedroom picked up "distorted audio of what sounded like voices or a whimper followed by a loud thud" and a dog can be heard barking. Goncalves' dog was found in her bedroom when police responded later that day.
