To continually remind the libtards that it's not about skin color but content of character?

The MLK family is outraged by this statue.
The topic header
"It looks like a big ol' dick" is an actual quote by a teenaged member of the MLK clan.
I looked for it when I started this thread, but was unable to find it.
It looks like the initial flood of outrage is being purged from the net as it doesn't fit the narrative.

One thing I'm pretty sure of is that the $10 million spent to create that thing was all OP (other people's)
money.
No one would EVER spend their own $10 million to build that monstrosity.

Cause we took down a whole buncha them southern white bastards on horseback.

And anyone else in history that may not have been as politically or racially sensitive as our generation is now.

Honestly, I don't *get* modern art, and this is a perfect example.

If a sculptor could actually capture that moment from that iconic photo and reproduce it as a statue that conveys the emotion that Dr. and Mrs. King were expressing, I would be impressed.

But instead we got this guy, and HIS INTERPRETATION of that moment...

Yikes.  :wallbash:

I read an article yesterday about the sculptor's reaction to the outrage over his work.
He said the statute represents the appropriation of MLK's legacy by racist white America.
To me, that statement is the exact opposite of MLK's legacy.

MLK was havin a great time blastin his loads with all those younger gals in every place he stayed.  Turns out his wife didn't really care for it either  ;D
I mean, he did have a good dream about equality, but he was also dreaming of something far away from that

If he was a true "Arteest" he would have made it a Fountain that Erupts every fifteen minutes. :smoke:
