The dismount at the end of this video is insane. Boston Dynamics does some crazy stuff, but this is next level.

Boston Dynamics truly does some amazing stuff. Seeing their robots makes me wonder about what the future may hold.

And for proof, I watched it again, but in 2160p on my phone. This was the first thing I noticed and wasn't even looking hard.





Last I checked wood planks didn't float 1/2" above the crate they're supposed to be resting on.

There's screws poking through the bottom of the board. You can clearly see them at 0:23

You're right, I missed that. Still things about the video that make me question it however.

I haven't seen this with my own two eyes but I can't think of a reason to fake it.

If it is CGI, they do a better job than Hollywood! Looking at you Marvel movies!  ;D

I honestly thought it was real until the thing did a flip. Then I thought it was CGI.

But I found that behind the scenes video and I don't see a reason to CGI the original video if they obviously have the robot in the behind the scenes.

I also think it's funny to look at the wear and tear on the body panels. That robot's been thru a lot.

Official definition is Computer Generated Imagery.

As far as I know it's just a fancy way of saying animated. I'm sure there's differences between the two, I'm also sure that I am unaware of those differences.
