Why doesn't the news bring up the race of the cops? Weball know if it's a white cop they'll beat that fact into our heads, but all black cops....:crickets:

I can finish it up for them... so allow us to make some shit up in order to get the cities burning.

Personally, I always like to know what happened earlier in the LEO's shift too. Not that it would excuse, absolve, etc... anything if there was anything happening in the offending incident that shouldn't be there.

I only inquire because we ask a lot of our LE Profesionals and I don't believe we give them adequate tools or remedies for the difficulties of the job during shift. Like what if the officers just cleared a traffic fatality. Dead driver, Dead passenger, dead kids, then they turn around an hour later and stop a guy that blows a stop sign. That shit affectes you no matter how good at compartmentalizing people are. The guy that blows the stop sign, if hes' the least bit argumentative... that shit ain't gonna end well no matter how professional the Officer is. At the very least he's gonna get a cite for every little ticky tack infraction possible.

I get it though... they signed up for the job. That is a fact. I mean we train the shit out of our FD professionals... like constantly. LE... not as much.

Apparently those ex-cops were a/part of a gang unit which tells us a lot about them and how they are used to operating unfortunately.

Yes, there are bad cops out there, and unfortunately 5 of them converged on this one kid.
Now he is dead, and they are all facing criminal charges, as they should.

Good on the people of Memphis for protesting peacefully and still making their voices heard.
Lashing out at police or burning down their own city wouldn't do a thing to help Tyre's family, so I'm glad people realized that and restrained themselves for the most part.

And shame on the race whores like Al Sharpton who are trying to make this a racial case even though the victim and all 5 cops were young black men.
This was 5 bad cops on a power trip that ended in tragedy, period.

Tragically I hope  this will reinforce that this isn't a racial issue but a police failure to follow protocol and professionalism. I do recognize that sometimes it is racial. We can do better.
