Personally I only see real people engage the culture wars on social media. Yes, this forum is social media.

The few times politics comes up where I work I pretty much ignore it.

My girlfriend works as a teacher in the Seattle school district and finally got a taste of SJW wrath from a new students parents this year. 

The kid wasn't getting the curriculum so rather than having a discussion about what they could do to catch their kid up they immediately said that the curriculum was "racist".    Which is funny, because the student and parents are all white. 

I still say that's not bad. She made it a year before one came out of the wood work. The way people talk you would think the entire school district is made up of people like that.

I hear some of the school board meetings around here are really contentious like that. I'm glad I'm not in that line of work. It doesn't pay enough to put up with that kind of shit for sure.
