I agree with you 100%.

However, the root problem is that you have two diametrically opposed sides who can't even agree on what the 'mistakes' are to begin with, much less how to fix them.

Doing things 'correctly' becomes a matter of opinion, and thus it is subjective rather than objective.
In other words, we will never do anything 'correctly' when we can't even agree on what 'correctly' is.
There doesn't seem to be even a sliver of common ground left, which is very discouraging.

Anyway, back on topic, if Trump is arrested it will be nothing more than political theater that will drive the wedge even deeper between the pro-Trumpers and the anti-Trumpers, and the cycle will continue ad nauseum ...

Where is Trump getting this information from? According to the articles Incong posted, even his spokesman say's that nobody has said that they plan on arresting Trump.

At this point it just sounds like he's trying to rile people up as usual.

Not sure if you are just trolling or just a typical ignorant lib. Multiple Dem legislators in Congress and at state levels have already proposed gun ownership taxes. So far they have not gained much traction. However it is real and documented, not some crazy right wing conspiracy.
