Here's an analogy...you have kids....

The first time your kid drops an "F-bomb" you don't make a big deal out of it...why?  Because it shows them they get a reaction...pretty soon they're walking around dropping it everywhere because people react. Some think it's funny, some do not....

Listen, do I think some of this stuff is beyond silly?  Yeah, I do....but the more you react to it, the more you're going to get....bad press is still press....if people are talking about your product, then your product is in their mind...seriously, it's phys-op and many are falling right into it.

When they put an ad and it gets little to no reaction, that campaign will die a quick, quiet death...create a buzz and you';ll get more & more of it.

I disagree, they are pushing life altering drugs on children not old enough to fully comprehend what that means. Playing it down to not make a big deal about it does not protect those children.

Maybe focus on protecting your own?

I don't say that in a mean or sarcastic way, just that maybe "we" need to look a little more inward..all of us.

LOL, as long as my kids are ok who cares. Who gives an f about all the neglected and endangered kids in the world, not my problem.

You know, children are the largest consumers of Budweiser products.

Accepting someone for being different and the decisions they've made for themselves as an adult isn't the same as accepting or promoting pushing it on to children.

I haven't dug in to it, but is Anheuser-Busch promoting child transitions or puberty blockers?

Quote from: JParis on April 05, 2023, 05:29 AMand this affects anyone how exactly?

We seem to have reached a point that anything put forth pisses of one side or the other...what ever happened to "Live and let live?"

Can anyone just shrug their shoulders anymore and just say "meh, don't fret me none."

it does affect us. I have a niece, (through the foster care system), who has always followed one liberal trend after another. In high school she decided she was gay, then decided she was "Bi", then decided she was a man, then decided she was neither, a man or woman but gender neutral what ever that is, then she decided she was actually a woman, then she got pregnant and decided she is actually a father to the baby, and now after a few years, she has mostly settled into normal gender roles again. She has married a man, and she is back to being a woman again. the turmoil that has caused my sister-in-law and her family, leaving her younger siblings not knowing what to call her on a monthly or even weekly basis was upsetting to them. she kept changing her name like she changed her hair color, if the 5 year old called her his sister, she would scream, I AM NOT YOUR SISTER! My sister-in-law at first tried to being approving of it, following along with what the modern left, would do, but it got to be too much for the family and eventually my niece moved out of the house at 17 years old.

I honestly believe that none of that would have happened if the modern left wasn't pushing the agenda in media everyday. I think she would have rebelled in some form or another, I just don't think that the rebellion would have involved gender.

My comment was not in regards to Bud pushing to children. It was in response to JP's assertion that if we don't make it a big deal it will go away. I don't agree with that, as evidenced by the left pushing it on school aged children.

As far as Bud using whoever they want in their commercials, I really don't care. They are a company that makes an adult product and as long as they aren't specifically marketing to children, it's their AD money to spend as they choose. IMO, people that drink those cheap beers are probably alcoholics in denial. Seriously, why else would you subject yourself to that nasty swill.

I know some people that drink that nasty crap that will fully admit to being alcoholics.  :D

Mulvaney promotes it. If a company promoted a spokesperson for the KKK, would they be, "promoting racism?"

Judging by the people I see buying cases of Bud at the store you could easily make that argument.
