Because the 2024 election is on the horizon and the left NEEDS more ammo to ramp up the TDS machine.

this is just my opinion so take it for what it's worth, but I think they actually need 2 things.

They need Trump to be the candidate for president in the general election, because they feel it's their only chance of winning.

So here are the 2 things:
1) He has needs to be a martyr in the eyes of the right, to get him across the finish line in the primary.
2) He has to carry enough baggage that he can't win the general election.

It's really a masterful plan when you think about it. The harder they persecute him, the more likely the right will play right into their scheme. And the more likely the suburban women will reject him, or whatever other weakness they choose to exploit.

He's very good at pointing out what is truth and what is a dog and pony show, when it comes to federal law.

The Dem's spent millions promoting the Republican Senate candidates Trump endorsed during the
primaries.
Most of them won their primary. 
Then they spent more millions tearing them down as Trumpian lunatics.
It worked too, Trump's candidates lost and they held the Senate.

We have a pretty prominent Proud Boy locally (Ethan Nordean) and he's been in the local news quite a bit.  He's one fucked up individual. He sounds like the kind of guy who needs to be in prison.

Trump will win the Republican nomination
Some time next year Biden will step down be removed and the cabal will appoint his successor.
(much like Biden was decimated early in the 2020 primaries and then appointed the nominee after it because

Corrupt prosecutors in New York and Atlanta will continue charging Trump with trumped up crimes
and the MSM will front page them 24/7/365

Trump will lose... if it's close, the mules will steal it in the swing states.

The only thing we don't know is who the cabal will pick to replace Biden and Harris

your head is not in the game. They wanted the proud boys in prison. They can use that against Trump. They don't want Trump in prison because they can use that too.

Fundamentally you don't believe that they could, did, or will commit massive fraud to steal an election. That difference forms our difference of opinions. I fully believe without massive fraud in a handful of swing states trump would have won big time. You think there was no fraud and Trump lost. Those two scenarios make the argument of whether they want Trump in the general election or not very different. I guess for now we can agree to disagree. Once Trump is gone and the dems mail-in-steal the election from a candidate you like, we can revisit this idea.
