That one is coming next week.  That's a must have movie.

Another good one is Mr Roberts.

Well, I'm sure there's more I could come up with but there seems to be plenty already posted about here.

(Jeff, Heat shootout scene...good rec! Also, Miami Vice has some great shoot out scenes)

Plan 9 From Outer Space (Ed Wood). A movie so bad it's worth adding.

Immanence wasn't bad, saw it last night. It has terrible reviews, but I felt reasonably entertained.

Amadeus one of my favorites..

MIL-TFP-41

Surprised and disappointment that none of there Dirty Harry movies were mentioned yet.

The Day the Earth Stood Still - 1951 version

Forbidden Planet

Those two are, imo, pioneers of quality science fiction movies

Rio Bravo
El Dorado
Sands of Iwo Jima
The Longest Day
McClintock

For just pure western entertainment, you can't beat Silverado.

Battle of the Bulge (1965)

Billy Jack (cheesy, but entertaining)

If you don't mind old movies, The Thin Man movies with William Powell and Myrna Loy are great.
There is also one called Laura with Gene Tierney.
The Big Sleep
The Maltese Falcon
Key Largo
I like a lot of the film noir movies from the 40s and 50s.

The Twilight Zone has some great episodes. One of my favorites is called The Hunt. Also, one where Robert Redford plays Death. Not to mention William Shatner and the gremlins.

Psycho
The Birds

There are so many!

For some reason I love that show. I have to watch it any time I stumble across it.

Uh Yea... And Prolly "Escape from New York" :o

Sounds Like you need some Snake. (Plissken) ;)
