Ultimately unless election integrity and security are restored the Dems will cheat in AZ, MI, WI, PA, GA and ensure sleepy Joe another 4 years. Realistically we should support DeSantis because too many #NeverTrumpers refuse to admit Trump only lost because of the fraud. They want so badly to believe it was because of Trump and the only way the establishment will challenge the fraud is if their guy (DeSantis or other) were to lose to the same fraud.

You can claim fraud till the sun goes down, he still lost. And if you really believe that is the only reason he lost you are forgetting the guy is a dick. Lots of people didn't vote for him simply because of that reason. Personally I thought he came across as a dick going back to the 80's.

Trump is a weak candidate, he is unlikable, and that is why he will lose again if he gets the nomination. That is the reality his supporters must face.

Killary lost for the exact same reason, no-one liked the bitch.

I would never wish death on anyone, but wouldn't mind seeing both Biden and Trump suffer some kind of mild heart attack - just enough to put them out to pasture so they can enjoy their golden years. Both are old AF and deserve to kick their feet up.

It is disappointing that 2 old geasers are the leading candidates in both parties.

It will never happen in my lifetime, but a 3rd party option (libertarian) would be the best to see in the oval office.

^ my point exactly.

Trump is such an unlikeable dick that in 2020 over 70 million people voted for him, more than any other candidate ever before.

except one.   :D

lol

I laugh when people say "I can't believe this many people voted for Biden"..  I think they're looking at it wrong. I can believe that many people voted against Trump.

Disclaimer on that last comment.  I hate Biden at least as much as anyone else here.

We say that because we know it's not true. There is no way on this earth he got that many votes LEGITIMATELY

The two parties we have now are too focused on tearing each other apart to get anything useful done.

I agree Trumps says a LOT of dumb junk, but it's hard to argue with how well the economy was doing while he was in office.

The majority of Biden's votes were anti-Trump instead of Pro-Biden. And that's just because Trump is a meanie pants. ::)

Are presidential elections usually choosing the lesser of two evils? Or was there a time when both candidates were actually fit for the position?

That's a legit question cause I've only voted in one presidential election, I'm guessing some of you guys have voted like 18-20 times.  ;D

That is 100% by design. Imagine a system that influenced people to vote for candidates who were willing to best serve them rather than interest groups.

There was a time when people thought the candidates were fit.
It seems to me that after Reagan things went downhill fast.

What's even more scary is that it is just two parties fighting to get more money and power from the same special interests. Russell Brand had a great video where he listed lobbying dollars and stock ownership of political leaders/parties by industry. They were basically a 60/40 split with some industries like big pharma leaning towards Dems and others like oil/gas leaning towards R's, but they were all largely getting money from the same special interests. That is why the Dems, Deep state, and establishment R's were all ok with stealing the election from Trump, he wasn't part of their club and was not beholden to their desires.
