Vericut VUE in Anahiem Monay the 5th

Who is going? I will be there doing a presentation. From their last email to customers. They gave me the 2pm slot to do a presentation about Correct Vericut Machine Validation and the Vericut Interface.

It's not too late to register for our upcoming VUE in Anaheim, CA on Monday, June 5th.

This is a great chance to learn more about how to make the most of 9.3.2 with tips and tricks from the CGTech staff and directly from other VERICUT users. Attendees will also get a sneak peek at what's coming in 9.4 with demos of new features held directly in the software.

Ron Branch, Vice President of 5th Axis CG Inc, will also be giving a presentation about his experience using VERICUT as part of the consulting services his company provides for CNC programming and manufacturing.

How was VUE this year? I hope your presentation went well.
The last time I attended a VUE in Irvine, I swore I would never make that drive again.
I thought about going to this year's VUE in Anaheim, but I've just got too much going on
to miss a day at work.
Did you notice any difference now that CGtech is owned by Sandvik?
I was hoping we'd see more collaboration between CGtech and Mastercam after Sandvik gobbled them up.

We've got 2 seats and could use a third, but the cost of maintenance is already breathtaking, so I haven't done anything about a third seat.
I suspect it will be even worse now. We renew in October so I'll find out then

The quote I have that is for 1 seat,  3 machines, Force Optimization starts with an 8

Well, they can achieve good results with it, but those results come at a price. It was suggested the best way to see what benefits could be gained from Force, was to get CGTech to do a Force application on your own part. They will also provide it as a service. That way it can be tested before purchasing.

In all honesty, with our production numbers and quantities, if it conservatively can save 10%, it'll pay for itself in about 6 months or less...

So that's something i am anglingto get...

i heard Sandvik bought VC on the basis of proven case studies of saving 20%
 It stands to reason that computer simulation could begin to science-out cutting loads and alter speeds and feeds.
 Gonna need to have MTB get smarter with specifying spindle speeds as they can feed rates, then the loop can be closed.
