NOPE back then the machinist was fully responsible for anything that went on at the machine. hum dat kinda makes sense.
we were very creative on dry runs.
and no canned cycles, all G1,G0. No decimal either had to have all digits for place holder if I remember correctly. 1 inch was 1000.

I refuse to use any cnc still saddled with a hard drive. Solid state or I don't touche it.
