Official Mastercam Forums new face-lift?

It took me all of 5 seconds this morning to log in before getting update 4.

Today I have been able to log in, though it usually take two or more tries.

Once logged in, I have been unable to access the forums at all.
I usually get 86'd and thrown out the door.

After reading Tim's post, I just now attempted to access the download page
and received a note stating,
"The Mastercam family of webpages is down for maintenance.
Please try back later"

Maybe the new interface overhaul is in the works???

Active Reports?

Since their active reports and setup sheets are extremely UNuser-friendly, I've been using X+ for the last few years.
Lean and clean and very easily customizable.

I've been trying to get my boss to pay for these for years.  I don't think that he likes the idea have paying maintenance for setup sheets. 

Oh well.  Mine have worked so far but they certainly aren't as good as or work as well as the Varco.

Getting updated to 4 was definitely different from what I was used to but it was also a lot faster.

Is it just me, or is the official MC forum getting worse? 

It crashes constantly now, even while trying to post something.

yes.. it's nearly worthless.
I am able to log reliably now (click the email login tab 2 times)
This  is an improvement but access the forum is sketchy at best and I normally get
kicked out after viewing one or 2 posts
If you want to post something, write it in Notepad and copy/paste
in into a new post on the forum

The Future of the Mastercam Forum was started 5 months ago
this update was posted "last month"

We wanted to provide an update on behalf of the Forum development efforts. We are currently behind schedule from the originally stated redeployment date which was the end of Q1. However, we are currently taking the final steps to migrate the existing data and test our new platform, which we are excited to roll out.

We've heard the frustrations around the stability of our current environment, and we'd like to assure everyone that this effort is a top priority for our team.

While we cannot provide an exact rollout date at this time, we expect that in June we will have a new platform for our community to use.

Any further updates around this effort will be posted on this topic.

The end of June is a day closer everyday... 

It seems to be worse for me as well. I've never seen it this bad, most days I don't bother with it.

I've tried to post a few times and ended up just giving up.  It's too frustrating.

I'd like to ask about some potential bugs in the software so if they are indeed bugs, they get some attention.  Nothing pisses you off more than typing a bunch of stuff in and then getting the error screen when you hit the post button. 

G's suggestion was good.  I'll start typing everything in to thunderbird.

I wonder how many more clicks they will add to be able to access the forums.
As it stands now, it takes 5 clicks to get to the forums.
WTF is it with Mastercam and needless clicks?
