Here's a fun rabbit hole to go down.

A company in my small town, that I've never even heard of, got $10,000,000. When I google it, says it's a paving contractor with 5-9 employees and annual revenue of $500K-$1 million a year. The address references another company that seems to be an electrical contractor. Based on that size loan, they need about 500 employees to qualify for such a loan.

Then about every one of my dad's old fart farmer buddies who are retired and rent/lease out their land seem to be down for about $10-20K each. Good Republicans, every one of them.

First and formost, Taxation is theft.

Secondly if I owned a company and I'm analyzing my return on my taxation "investment", I would take back as much as humanly possible. Public institutions are COMPLETE shit. Infrastructure is crumbling. I could go on and on to infinity if I were to outline government's epic failures.

Social Security isn't an entitlement, it is getting back that which we already put in.

Back to the "good Republicans" you speak of, I trust those guys to spend THEIR money the government stole in the first place MUCH better than government.

If a company kept all their employees it wasn't a loan but totally free money.

Or, money that was originally taken by force was returned.

All central banking fiat currency is loaned into existence. So it's theft by inflation.

Of course they never return shut. That's why high paid accounts exist.
