Literally 6 months after he was onstage where hundreds of people were shot and 50+ people were shot and killed in Vegas. He had a right to his opinion at the time and has a right for his opinion to shift as the world shifts. If we are required to only judge someone by what they said 5+ years ago, then we should be calling Del a Democrat because he voted for and liked Obama.

I'd rather him be honest and have his opinions gradually grow and shift than be stubborn and lock down his opinions and only live that way. That's what the far left and far right does and why people are moving away from both of them.

In a small town near me yesterday, there was a high speed chase, that started in Illinois, ended up in Missouri, and 2 policeman shot an unarmed man that tried to run them over with his car. The entire county held their breath until they heard it was a white male rather than a black male. Then they breathed a sigh of relief. My wife is a circuit clerk in that town, so she witnessed the tension and the relief.

You guys would have heard this suspect's name by now if he had been black.

That's where we are now in this country.

I think the song just speaks of the frustration people feel from seeing and hearing all the violence. No worse than the protests songs of the 60's.

That's fair....

It's not what most are doing but from that standpoint, yeah, there is a LOT of frustration, on many fronts. Who is right, who is wrong, that's a FAR deeper issue and there are no easy answers.

Then he wasn't unarmed. His weapon of choice just happened to be a motor vehicle. Motor vehicles by definition ARE deadly weapons. Usually they kill about as many people as firearms do.

Either way I agree with you. The bias in the news is baffling. That's one of the reasons I try to stay away from watching it. This forum is my main source to find out what's going on in the world, that's kinda sad.

As far as this singer man goes, as long as he doesn't come knocking on my door, he can say or sing whatever he wants.
