We just recently got ISO certified and our marketing dept wanted to put together a video shop tour to showcase our operations. A little long but there are great shots of some of the automation cells I have built. At the 4ish minute there is one of our Multus cells and at the 9ish minute shows our 5 axis pallet automation cell.

Great video Doug. It must be an interesting place to work, with the all the equipment from Multii, to 5 Axis, and robotics, along with the monitoring software.

How many people are employed there?

We have just over 30 employees but only about 8-10 work in the machine shop, not including programmers.

Actually, I rarely drive the forklifts so I always bump stuff when I do :o . I normally just have one of the other people move stuff for me.

LOL, funny story yesterday. One of the operators clipped the corner of a 250gal plastic tank of recycled coolant with the forklift. We lifted it up really quick and rolled the closest machines chips bin under it to catch the massive amount of coolant coming out, but we still probably had 20-30 gallons spill out onto the floor.

Ok..
At the 7 minute mark the Caliper is being incorrectly held,

I would shut down the whole building.

Also there is a young man there with a Butterfly Tat on his left inside fore arm.

I am assuming your kid works there. :D

Happily, there was a direct absence of Man Buns.

But then again I normally only see those in Restaurant applications.

Good Video Doug was Fun to watch. I'm gonna forward it to my Boss.

Thanks for Sharing. :)

Yeah the caliper thing sticks out. Any machinist could find things to pick apart in the video. It's a marketing piece for our customers that are not machinists per se.

No my kids don't work here. Also, are you sure you are not seeing things. I don't think anyone has a butterfly tattoo.

Left arm of Trent, right below his elbow. You can see it at the 12:30ish mark

He's in polishing/packaging. I don't interact with those guys very often. I honestly would not have remembered his name if you didn't use it.
