Except for the Lesbian cakes.
Those are prolly always going to be nutless.
As for the rest of the BGTQ folks, yeah, the nuts are prolly a given... :harhar:

But seriously folks...

There IS a third alternative to Republicans (and Independents) who don't like either Trump or DeSantis.
https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2023/07/20/vivek-ramaswamy-pete-buttigieg-00107193

Aside from the fact that the MSM has been trying to convince everyone for years that the Republicans are the racist party, I know more than a few middle-aged white male registered Republicans who are becoming interested in Vivek's campaign, and a few who have already declared they would vote for him over Trump or DeSantis in the primary...

I'm still not 100% convinced he can win the R nomination, but every time I hear him speak I am leaning closer to voting for him, assuming of course that he is still even on the ballot by the time the primary in my state rolls around...

I have been pondering the question of why would the Dems want Trump in the general when he is the strongest candidate, as the polling shows. I can only come to the conclusion that it is all about the cheat. Right now every establishment GOP is running to any open mic to claim Trump lost and there was not enough fraud to change that. If by some chance an establishment R got the nom it would change the dem cheat big time. For Trump the national GOP party will not help and will not provide resources to stop the cheat. If it were another R, they would not admit Trump lost because of fraud, but they would do everything in their power to try to stop it from happening to their candidate. This seems like pretty good reason to prop up Trump. The Dems can cheat as much as they want against Trump and the mainstream media, deep state agencies, GOP, etc. will all claim he is just a sore loser and lost legit.

It could also be that they're sure there is enough evidence against him that he's going to get convicted?

I do have to give his attorney some credit for trying to move the trial due to "lack of a diversity", to a Sate that is 90% white.

I do get that his chances of getting a fair trial in DC is pretty slim, but lack of diversity?

You could be right, but then that is just more pointing towards the fact they are up to some shenanigans because they know they can't win an election based on merit.

I just don't get establishment R's. Ron DeSantis totally threw Trump under the bus saying that Biden actually got 81 million votes. Rasmussen, Gallop, even left wing polling groups all have results showing that half of voters or more believe there was massive fraud in 2020. DeSantis just pissed off all those people by continuing to deny what most people see and know to be true. How the F does that build a coalition? If any R wants even a remote chance of getting broad support of the voters they need to just stay clear of Trump and campaign on policy and vision.

I didn't watch the interview. Is that what he said or is that your interpretation of what he said?

Reality is not DeSantis' friend in the primaries.

I did not watch the interview. I was paraphrasing from the article. However, DeSantis is on record saying Trump is false in his assertion that the election was fraudulent. That is not going to get him far with a majority of trump supporters. Regardless of the exact words used, it isn't going to go well for DeSantis if he keeps using his air time to trash Trump.

IMO, any Establishment R that wants a chance at Prez nom needs to court the MAGA R's. The media would love for people to believe MAGA and Trump are one and the same. That is far from the truth. Trump is popular because he espoused MAGA principals. Most Trump supporters would get behind a MAGA DeSantis. Truthfully what DeSantis has accomplished in FL is right in with those principals. DeSantis needs to essentially rebrand his own flavor of MAGA without alienating Trumps supporters. It is a tight rope act between looking like you support Trump and losing his supporters. The media would love to paint DeSantis as MAGA Trump crony. He needs a clear, concise message and to stay on point. The media is going to use every chance to try to trick him into questions that push him to either one of those pitfalls.

it seems a little silly to say that Desantis needs a "clear concise message and that he has to walk a tight rope" and then to judge what he said in the interview from a headline. It just seems like if you think that, you would pay particular attention to the verbiage used.
