Yeah, not surprised because of the amount of work to be done.

For a few days you might be sore, get outside of that time frame and you'll be happy you had it done. For myself I know walking around in pain and discomfort for so many years, you kind of compensated and dealt with it the best you could.

Once you're free of that, you'll feel like a million bucks again and I ain't talking "micro" bucks  ;)

Tomorrow morning I get cut on. Hopefully all goes well and my recovery will be tolerable. I've had to quit smoking because Dr told me the spine won't fuse if I continue to smoke.

Del, Good Luck!!!!

Take heart, I saw my surgeon last week, I am all cleared to do whatever I feel I am up to...no restrictions...a good recovery is not of possible, it's probable...this kind of surgery has become common to help those us us who would otherwise be living in some serious pain for the rest of our lives...
