I think Ross Perot would have been a better President and I did vote for him twice.

I voted for Perot the very first time I voted. I didn't know much about him other than he wasn't establishment candidates. Even back then I didn't trust/like the Republicans.

I've always wondered what made people think that Trump was the "best president in their lifetime". 

He was both the best and the worst. His America first policies were awesome and produced great results. He was an outsider that was not beholden to the establishment. However he also had lengthy twitter arguments with a porn star he had an affair with, made fun of people and generally displayed unbecoming behavior for a president. He was simultaneously great in policy but horrible as a person.
