The company I work for bought a company in the Naples area. We had just ordered some new machines for here but decided to send a couple down there instead. I am going for a couple weeks to set up the same automation we have here on a new Multus B250. My wife is coming with and we are staying over the weekend so we can make it a  mini vacation. Just not sure what to do. My wife suggested doing some kind of glass bottom kayak tour. We are open to ideas.

If I lived in Florida my girlfriend would leave me.  I would be fishing every second I wasn't working or sleeping.

There is a BJJ/MMA gym about a half hour from where we are staying that is affiliated with the same group as my home gym here. I plan to hit up a few evening classes and maybe their Sunday open mat. However that isn't anything interesting for my wife. We may just relax and hit the beach if the weather is nice.

Ft Meyers area took a HUGE hit from hurricane Ian. Naples faired a lot better, but still got pretty beat up.

We ran into several people in Siesta Key a few weeks ago who normally go to the Ft Meyers area but the places they go were still not open.

Yeah, I was there for a couple of days in July when the purchase was in final stages. Most of the stuff in Naples was open. We didn't get too much into Ft Myers area besides the airport.

My dad lives in Cape Coral so get to the area every couple years. I know I've been to Naples a couple times but besides a restaurant or two I'm not too familiar with the area.

If my wife can get the time off it's looking like we'll be headed down there beginning of February.

I'm not big on seafood, but we did find a good whole foods restaurant where I had a wood fired pizza with kale, cranberries, butternut squash, caramelized onions, and an lemon almond cheese sauce. It was delicious!
