That tops the pineapple on pizza debate.

In the words of Tom Papa, it tastes like mulch.   :D

If kale was the only thing on the pizza it wouldn't be very good, but when combined with the butternut squash, cranberries, caramelized onions, and the lemon almond cheese, the kale was barely noticeable.

Seems way too sweet for my taste.

I'll try anything once. Not sure how they make cheese from lemons and almonds tho. Churn almond milk and the lemons for the yellow color?

I really liked it, but yes it was on the sweet side. It would have benefitted from some kind of spiciness added. Maybe some crushed red peppers.

No, but there were warning signs along the river where we were kayaking.

The cheese had a very fluffy consistency, kind of like ricotta.

I may not agree with YoDoug's vegan diet. But I do love kale. You just need to know how to cook it. Also, it's the last thing that I will be able to harvest from my garden. Last year I went out in the snow and harvested kale for Christmas.

I've only had it a couple of times and haven't liked it either.

I think that it was the same comedian who said "I'm not sure what's the eatin part and what's the throwin away part.

Okay, here is a way to enjoy kale without just throwing it at your mother-in-law. Cut up and cook some onion. While the onion is cooking cut up a generous amount of garlic, set aside. Next strip kale from the stems and chop it not too fine. herbs that play well with kale are sage, parsley, even basil so grab some of those from the garden and cut them fine. Now add the garlic and brown for a couple of minutes then add the kale, a bit of salt, fresh ground pepper and a generous splash of liquid (I like to use chicken broth) cover and let steam for a couple more minutes before adding the herbs. Cover again, put the lid back on and turn off the heat. I a few minutes crack the lid to let the steam escape (this will preserve the bright green of the kale) Bon Appetit'. By the way I use this concoction in my crustless quiche, substituting spiniach or Swiss chard depending on the season. I make this quiche almost every Sunday at our B&B and have made it literally hundreds of times.

So the ingredients are kale, onion, garlic, and spices? I'm a little skeptical about this one. Does it look like baby food when it's done?

I imagine it tastes pretty good but it seems super light.

We have place down here that makes a dessert pizza. Custard, Banana and Chocolate. Its damn good.

Or another place that does an Indian Curry flavoured pizza that has chicken, banana, cashews, and a kind of apricot/curry sauce. Also damn good. :)
CNC Softwares own 'lil piece of Poison Ivy.

It's not at all like baby food. When I cut the kale I typically grab a bunch of stripped leaves in my hand and compress it before chopping it into about half-inch slices using a chef's knife with a couple of slices in the other direction. It has plenty of presence on the plate. Oh and a little tip: whenever you saute onions grate a little nutmeg into it.
