Maura Healey....she has been as vocal as anyone as Massachusetts has seen an influx that has their ability to house them overflowing...

But in her case DHS has sent people in to review the situation...

Eric Adams got tagged because he has had his hand in the cookie jar...there's no message there.

I'm still not sold on this guy. Sure he calls people out left and right with ease, but it seems too good to be true that he's not a RINO in waiting. Although I haven't seen much of the debates just some highlights here and there.
Cristy and whatshername should just bow out at this point, they don't stand a chance and are only in it for money and donations.

He got tagged because he was making waves and screaming long and loud about Biden's immigration policies
and what they were doing to NYC.
The message was "SHUT THE FUCK UP, NOW!!!" and he got it, loud and clear.
We haven't heard a peep out of him since.

The Dem. Governor of Arizona is now becoming vocal about the immigration crisis in her state.

Maybe some of them are starting to get it...

When ANYONE with more than a couple of brain cells does the math, illegal immigration is nothing short of an economic catastrophe.

yes, and they sell abortion as a way of fixing the "too many people" problem and illegal immigration as a way of fixing the "not enough people" problem.

I guess I haven't heard that selling point.

I've heard the "not ready or can't afford to raise a family", or the "baby isn't going to survive the pregnancy" like in the case of the poor woman in Texas who was going to be forced to carry a nonviable pregnancy to term.

And there is another side to that, the doctor is wrong. One of my wife's coworkers, after numerous tests, was told the baby had serious defects and wouldn't survive after birth. They were told at around 6 months it would be best to abort. They said no. The baby is now over a year old and not a single thing wrong with it.

that's how they sell it, here's what they think

QuoteAbstract

No nation wanting to reduce its growth rate to less than or equal to 1% can expect to do so without the widespread use of abortion. This study, based on the experience of 116 of the world's largest countries, supports the contention that abortion is essential to any national population growth control effort. Existing circumstances in developed countries have facilitated reduction of growth rates to less than 1%, with abortion rates generally in the range of 200 to 500 per 1000 live births. However, developing countries are faced with a different and more difficult set of circumstances that require even greater reliance on abortion. These obstacles include a young population with resultant rapidly growing numbers of young fertile women, poor contraceptive use-effectiveness, low prevalence of contraception, and poor or nonexistent systems for providing contraceptives. By virtue of their profession, physicians play a critical role in family planning and carry a special responsibility in ensuring that abortion services are available to all women who need them.

QuoteBut there is more that is wrong with what Prince William said: identifying population growth as the problem, logically presents population control as the solution. This automatically transforms wombs into legitimate sites for climate policy. In other words, women's rights to contraception and education are weaponized: they are no longer tools that help women access greater choice, but instead this gender equality goal is hijacked to impose someone else's agenda.
Let's imagine for one minute that we accept that population growth -- and specifically, population growth in Africa -- leads to greater pressure on wildlife, an argument that Prince William believes is undeniable. How should this be addressed? A one-child policy as a condition for development aid? How will the impact of that reduction in population be measured? Who is to say if it is going far enough to mitigate environmental damage? If it isn't, what then?
Prince William seems to have avoided speculating on how to fix his problem. His grandfather, the Duke of Edinburgh, was not so wise and was known to have called for "voluntary family limitation" to address a growing human population.
