What's a ticket cost in LA. Gotta go up after signing $700,000,000 man. Hope they miss the playoffs.

homeless people should probably consider begging near the players entrance.

That contract is INSANE!
Ohtani is a fucking stud though.

That contract will end up being an albatross....nevermind the notion that "nobody is worth that much money" he took what was offered.

2nd Tommy John, he may hit & field but that pitching arm, just don't seem like it's going to last....

Now if only the Red Sox will get off their arse and actually do something this off season...

Most likely, but I hope not. I'm not even a Dodger fan but he's a once in a lifetime type of player than can do it all. I'd love to see a full career out of him just for the stats and records.

Jeff

I mean aren't the Reds still paying for Jr's contract? The best swing ever in baseball!

Angels are STILL paying for that albatross Pujolz. All that money and he's STILL going to enter the HOF as a Cardinal. What an EPIC waste of money he was for the Angels.

He is deferring $68 million each year until 2034. Save a bunch in taxes if he leaves kali when the checks start rolling in.

Crazy. How is the poor guy supposed to live on $2 million a year?

JK. His endorsement deals are somewhere around $50 million a year. He'll be ok, even in Kalifornia.

So 2024-2033 he'll be paid $2M/year. From 2034-2043 they'll pay him $68M/year, interest free.
