What I mean, is that when someone discusses abortion with their doctor, their doctor isn't selling it to them as a form of population control.

Some of those examples, you could quite literally claim that "family planning" is also a form of population control.

yes, well, I wasn't referring to doctors when I said that "they" sell us on abortion as a way of fixing the "too many people" problem and sell us on illegal immigration as a way of fixing the "not enough people" problem.

it's funny how we want politicians to do something about crime, make it safe for us to walk down the street without being mugged, but we don't politicians to help us survive the womb, or to be more precise, people who have already survived the womb don't want others protected while in the womb. I can think of no act more selfish than abortion. far more selfish than wanting to put a border wall up.

I guess I haven't heard that selling point.   

I've heard the "not ready or can't afford to raise a family", or the "baby isn't going to survive the pregnancy" like in the case of the poor woman in Texas who was going to be forced to carry a nonviable pregnancy to term.

Neuro, you do realize that WELL over 90% 0f ALL abortions are "convenient" not medically "necessary"... which is an entirely different discussion, or cases of sexual abuse or trauma which are outliers. 

Let's not kid ourselves. Abortion is about removing the consequences of irresponsible behavior. Does birth control fail? Yes. Again, that is nothing more than using outliers to define/dictate/allow a murderous policy.

When people are waiting YEARS to adopt, why would abortion exist? It exists because people are selfish and they don't want to face the consequences of their decisions.

Neuro, you do realize that WELL over 90% 0f ALL abortions are "convenient" not medically "necessary"... which is an entirely different discussion, or cases of sexual abuse or trauma which are outliers. 

I'm not sitting here arguing for convenience abortions.

My personal opinion on them, is that it's none of my business. I don't support abortions of convenience but I also don't force my moral beliefs or opinions on other people.

We're all ganging up on ya, I didn't intend for that, but the thing is, abortion advocates look at at abortion as a medical procedure. Can you imagine those same people calling the death penalty a medical procedure? I'm pretty sure if rightwing politicians called the death penalty a medical procedure they would be pounced on, by all 4 branches of the Democratic party, (politicians, media, universities, corporate elitist)
