How often do you visit EMastercam now?

Every day.
A few times a week.
On occasion.
Rarely.
What is EMastercam?

Flycut

The main reason I would even visit Emastercam is to watch you guys argue.
Once in a while to request help. Rarely to offer any help because even if I has any advice there was a 99% chance one of you would beat me to it.
Now that they have taken down the off topics I'll make a point of visiting every other month or so.
I still think they made a mistake taking down the off topic section. I wonder if they have noticed.

What's your take?

I go in there a few times a week. I've got a handful of customers that reach out to me through there as well.

I miss his lunch photo's.  Some of the food he ate hardened my arteries just looking at it.

I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

I think I've visited that shithole 2-3 times since this forum happened.

I haven't been a regular Mastercam user since 2016 so once they shut down OT I had no reason to go there.

I try to stay caught up with anything of interest on eMC, myMC, and this forum.

IMO The biggest strength eMC has is the search function actually works. I can search each thread individually, and there's decades of questions on there so sometimes I can find the answer to a question without asking, or at least get pointed in the right direction.

They must have improved the search function since the last time I used it.
I had given up on that one.

I stayed away for a year or so....

Sadly, I like to help and the traffic here for that is minimal, so I went back...I am mostly picky though on the "who" and to what level.

I voted on occasion, so maybe 2-3 times a week tops.
I picked up a ton of knowledge from that forum. That was the main thing about that forum, it was/is the best resource out there for Mastercam and machine tool related questions. The side thing, off topic, was a great distraction too. Too bad losing the distraction really slowed down the Mastercam and other "real world" related stuff.

The official forum hosted by CNC software is about as exciting as looking at a insurance policy. Reminds me of the NX forums I used years ago.

Yeah, don't get me started. The beta forum is a ghost town for official responses unless another user answers your question. The regular forum isn't much better.
They definitely like to pick and choose which ones they want to reply to. I have questions that have basically been ignored for a couple of years.

Glad to be on your good side.
Always appreciate your help.

The CNC Software Mastercam forum just has no soul. I think the only times I go in there is if I've got some time to kill and there's literally NOTHING else to read/look at.

eMC's still at least got a pulse.

I use the official forum to report bugs and for CHook related stuff. The SDK team has been slightly more active compared to the past couple years. Even so, Peter still ends up answering almost every question
