Smit

My last day of work is today. I have a farewell party and that's my last drive to work.

I'll spend the rest of the week packing then I'm off to the Philippines for 3 weeks on the ninth.

When I return I'll probably spend a lot of time with the grand kids, picking them up from school and such. I'll mix in some work around the house, maybe put in some tomato plants this spring, and do some landscaping.

Mixed in with a couple nice vacations every year, and a bunch of long weekends to cool places I want to see in the U.S. too. Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington, New York, New Orleans, lots of other places.

It'll be strange for a while but I think I'll adapt alright. :)

That's great! Smit. Congratulations!  You still gonna come here and give us all a hard way to go, though, right?

I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

Congratulations!!  I'm looking forward to the day I can do the same.  Enjoy those grandkids and trips.  Don't forget to pop in here once in a while to add a bit of left side wit.

Del.

Enjoy your retirement. You've earned it.

Wow, that's great news Larry! 8)

Enjoy that precious time with the grandkids because before you know it they will be grown up and gone!

I have to ask...retiring on Jan 3rd, on a Wednesday...not Dec 29th on a Friday. Gotta be a story there.
