That's a very interesting topic. Everyday in my news feed I see contradicting articles about recession. Some say we are about to go off a fiscal cliff and possibly another depression. Others say it will be a very soft landing and barely resemble a recession. I will note that most of the soft landing articles are from extremely left biased news sources, probably just trying to prop up their failed leader, Biden.

we were discussing the exact same today at the shop. A lot of our local mold shops are dead slow right now. Local shops that do defense work are swamped as you'd expect given the state of the world currently. Our workload here had typically been a pretty good leading indicator of recessions and we are on the slow side of things.

We have usually picked back up again by the time the news outlets are saying we are in a recession.

The reality is everyone who can is doing it at one level or another and those who can't are trying to learn how OR they're outsourcing it to those who can

Last week Biden walked out of a press conference when asked a question about the economy
yelling at the reports to start reporting economic news right.

One little known fact about the "record job growth" the Biden Admin is always raving about.
A large percentage of it is government jobs managing all the new welfare bennies the Biden Admin
is handing out to the never ending flow on border crasher flowing over the southern border.

Del.

Everywhere I look I see help wanted or now hiring signs. Obviously the numbers are skewed and those seeking work is way down

it was an expensive error on my part expecting a 2023 crash. Turns out it was the wrong 3rd year of a democrat president to get a down turn. If trump gets it, '25 and '26 will be bad with the media going apoplectic hair on fire.

If you listen to the White House Press Secretary, "the economy is the best it's ever been!"

Who in the FUCK does she expect will believe that?
When she spews those obvious lies, she has to be laughing on the inside you would think.

Just go out to eat or grocery store and you can tell inflation is here.

I'd say it's up 30% from two years ago.
