You guys will remember this incident from last year.
In most states the shooter would be in prison.
In Texas, the grand jury cleared him.

That's the really tragic part of this whole incident. The shooter unloaded 9 shots into the robbers back. 9 shots can easily be considered excessive, but was totally justified given the threat. The shooter had to live with the stress of waiting for a grand jury to clear him and the knowledge that he killed a man waving a fake gun. Don't get me wrong, the entire incident is 100% the fault of the robber and the decisions he made.

I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

Not to go off on a tangent, but this is a growing problem. The lefty Mayors/DA's/etc refusal to let the police arrest protestors blocking roadways is becoming an issue. These protestors are becoming more and more hostile to vehicles, often trying to pull people out of their cars. This is going to escalate to the point you have drivers running over crowds of people in fear of being pulled from their cars.

I saw what animals did to Reginald Denny... AND got off Scott free for it. I'm getting out of the area and deal with the consequences afterwards. My CCW insurance handles ANY deadly weapon I need to use.
