I haven't watched this yet but the blow back has been hilarious.

Some good memes have been going around though.

I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

I am really interested in this but I have not watched. I have been avoiding in depth commentary until I can watch. Biden is a weak president. It serves Putin well. However the fact that Bidens endless graft and corruption is continuing to fund Ukraine hurts Putin's plans. I don't really expect any bombshells to come out of this interview. I expect he will criticize Bidens financial support of Ukraine and sanctions against Russia, but will not deliver any info that could jeopardize Biden's presidency. Putin doesn't want a Trump presidency so he won't come out with any election fraud or Covid scandal info, etc.

I've only seen a few minutes of it so far, where he asks who blew up the Nordstream pipline. Of course we all know the answer to this.

I think the most disturbing thing to come of this is the dumbsmits coming unhinged calling him a traitor and PedoJoe considering sanctions against Tucker. All for being a journalist.
Yet when Gaddafi and Castro were interviewed, those people were hailed as heroes.

This is the only reason I even considered watching it.  I guess the only issue that I would have with it, and I haven't watched it yet, is that I suspect that he's going to throw softball questions at Putin rather than actually journalisming.  I guess that's better than "falling" from a 4 story hotel window.  :D

Watching it now.
Nothing really softball yet, at least not your typical "Hey PedoJoe, what is your favorite flavor of ice cream" softball questions.

Just like the legacy media has been doing to Joetato for the last 4 years?

I am sure he had to submit a list of questions first and was warned to not stray too far. Putin wouldn't let him leave that interview with anything he wasn't ok with.

He's lucky he didn't fall out a window
That is a very common occurrence in Putin's Russia

Of that there is ZERO doubt.

People forget that Vladimir Putin came up through the ranks of the Soviet KGB and ended up as its Director.
Back in the day, literally eliminating your competition was common practice, so there is no doubt in my mind that Putin has literally had blood on his hands at one time or another.

He presents as a semi-respectable politician now, but behind that facade is a cold-blooded, ruthless thug.
I think a guy like Tucker Carlson is smart enough to know who he is dealing with, and that men like Putin can cause bad things to happen to people with no more effort than you or I would need to pick up the phone to order a pizza.

So yeah, minding what you say about him could be a sensible life decision.

20 hours after that video goes up on YT, it has 7.2 million views, 166,000 comments and 560,000 upvotes.

Wow.

And yet when you search on YT for the interview, do you think Tucker Carlson's channel is the top result?
Hell no.
The top 5 are:
Live NOW from Fox 856k views
The Young Turks 275k views
CNN 57k views
Live NOW from Fox --another video about it unknown views
Tucker Carlson in 5th with 7.2 million views

I can only imagine what TYT and CNN are saying about it and the echo chamber comment sections of those channels.

Putin is a hardcore gangster that loves nothing more than to do gangster shit.

Lets also not forget, Russia would have NEVER had a reason to invade Ukraine had we honored our (The West's) original agreement to NOT expand NATO. When the USSR collapsed, that was the agreement.

WE fired the first shots not Putin. WE backed him into a corner that he felt he had no other way out of. WE almost went to war with CUBA for the EXACT reason Putin went to war with Ukraine. He's not the agressor. WE were.

Russia invaded Crimea in 2014.
Putin hungers for the good old days of the Soviet Union and the iron fist of absolute power. Everything else is just an excuse to further that goal.
