Yesterday I read an article stating that Boeing was in negotiations to purchase Spirit
as part of the effort to get the latest quality issues under control.
That will have big implications for Boeing, Spirit, Spirit employees and Boeing shareholders.
I think a large part of the problem is that current Boeing management has been giving shareholder value
priority over quality issues.

Some Boeing people came through on a tour while I was at lunch.

That is the main issue with almost every corporation. Not necessarily 'quality' but some large issue or issues that management belives are too expensive to fix without affecting share value. The reason I will never work for a traded company anymore.

This is what happens when you let MBA's with little to no real world experience make decisions and reccommendations.

That's good....If they can't recognize you they can't Blame you. :D

I wonder if while you were gone they didn't put a Big Sign on your desk that said. "Out to Lunch"

Personally if I was there I would have found one of those Doors and Leaned it up on your Desk.

Just for Fun. ;D

They used to give souvenirs of window cutouts (the slug that was left after the window opening was cut). I can see them handing out these doors instead.

I keep saying nothing I program ever flies away. I should clarify that it's not supposed to either.

QuoteThe plane suffered "a serious structural failure" and a loud bang was heard shortly after takeoff when the left mid-exit door blew out...
Typical lawyer hyperbole. These turds are so full of shit. Just like these shitbirds at the ATF, They don't know shit. "... serious structural failures..." cause planes to fall out of the sky or cause planes to never fly again. I've not seen any indications that the plane is totaled.
