It is definitely a teaching that most will not be willing to accept, let alone even entertain the idea. Much easier to keep listening to the feel good prosperity message.
Those aren't the only choices.

Much better to read the Scriptures and let them speak for themselves.
agreed. I really think the best method is to read the scriptures, understand them the best you can, but to rely on the interpretations of the people who lived closest to the time frame they were written in. I really don't trust new innovations of theology.

you know what seems even worse to me? An athiest scientist. What's the use of that? We're just going to learn all of this stuff about how the universe works, math, physics, history of how it happened, and then what? bang in to the Andromeda galaxy and all the knowledge we learned is just gone?

Man! if I was an athiest, I would just dive into any kind of debauchery I could invent, and then, rot when it's over. what would be the use of spending all your time in a lab trying to figure out a series of random events and then teaching what you've learned about those random events.

A lot of vegans feed their pets vegan diets as well. The pro meat crowd loves to claim they can't be healthy eating only plants. However that is usually the rabid meat eaters that are cholesterol deniers that sound like flat-earthers when they get going with their cherry picked scientific talking points.

We personally feed our dogs regular dog food (has chicken in it) and a lot of different veggies scraps when we cook. It is an unfortunate situation of us choosing our battles as there is hardly decent vegan options for humans let alone pets.

The movie actually looks at multiple belief systems in regards to killing animals for food. They make the argument that Jesus, Mohammed, the OG Buddha, and others, were vegetarians. They also discuss a pretty big list of the greatest minds that shaped our world, from early philosophers and religious leaders to modern minds like Tesla and Einstein, and claim they were all at least vegetarians. .
