We just updated to MC2024 last week. Vericut does not run correctly in MC24 (I'm guessing that's expected?).

Side note, I was gonna ask this on the Vericut forum but it seems to be down? Maybe it's on my end?

I see 2019 thru 2023 here C:\Program Files\CGTech\VERICUT 9.3.2\windows64\mcamv
Is there a way to download just the MC2024 files?

I crossed my fingers and tried manually installing the 2023 files into MC2024, but I get an error when I try to run Vericut. MC2023 still runs Vericut without issue.

We are installed on 2024...v9.4

What issues are you seeing?

We did not update or reinstall to Vericut after updating MC. I'm guessing we have to do some kind of Vericut update

JParis

You 'll likely have to reinstall the chook and then copy it to the proper directory

I haven't dealt with an upgrade yet but that's what I would do in such a situation...work or not, not certain

You need to run this file

"where ever you have the V94 install files stored\vericut_v94\mastercam_interface_install.exe"

and make sure the install process is pointed here

"C:\Program Files\Mastercam 2024"

I ran that file and when it asks what version of MC it doesn't give me 2024 as an option.

I emailed CG Tech and they got back to me quick, they asked to setup a teams meeting.

I'd guess 9.3.2 doesn't support MC2024, we had it installed about a year ago. I don't think MC24 was out when it was installed. And it looks like they're up to 9.4.2 now

MC2024 didn't exist when 9.3.2 was released

That went well. Dan @ CG Tech sent me the files I needed for MC24, I had to manually install because the installer doesn't support MC24, but that wasn't exactly rocket science. And now I'm off to the races, verifying to my hearts content.

This is correct, Dan said that himself. Seems like after MC24 came out they went back and added support to 9.3.2.

On another note, after hearing about the success @JParis had with force... well I've got a quote coming. I'm guessing it's going to be a pretty big number and management won't go for it, but that won't stop me from trying. :bdh:

Thanks for the help guys! Really appreciate it
