So, Joe is 81 and the Don will soon be 78.

There is a 30% chance of an 80 year old making it to 90; so odds are, both are going to die in the next decade or so. That tells me we should be more focused on who the VP candidates are.

PedoJoe hasn't been sane for a decade and has been a gigantic piece of shit his entire life. Trump has all his wits. Age in this case is irrelevant.
It will most likely be Vivek as Trump's vp candidate I would imagine, he's the smartest and quickest of the lot.

Well we know Joe is sticking with Kamala, which is honestly an even more frightening alternative IMO.

Trump has yet to name his running mate, and probably won't until the convention, but he does have a short list of names that is probably down to just one or two by now.

He did have a meeting with DeSantis the other day which the media locked on to, but that doesn't make him the obvious choice.

I think Vivek is on the short list as well, if not for VP, then possibly for a Cabinet post.
I like Senator Tim Scott too, and I think he would be a great choice for VP.

I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

It seems to be more of a problem of too old politicians not being willing to retire. There are far too many of them. Typical boomer attitude. Boomers = the greediest generation.

Well, I'm not going to argue which pile of shit is bigger.

Statistics say if you reach 80 you have a 70% chance of dying before you reach 90. It doesn't say only assholes who show signs of dementia have a 70% chance of dying before 90.

So, to say age is irrelevant in this case is avoiding reality.

Why would I quit a job I like and am good at, that also pays very well? To make way for someone else?
Who is the greedy one? Me? Or the person who says I should retire so someone else can have my paycheck? I have 5 kids and 8 grandkids. Someone always needs something. In the last 5 years I've made two down payments for houses; Helped two kids buy cars.  I'm paying for Montessori school and daycare for two grandkids. The latest is I'm paying for braces for two of my grandkids. I'm the only one in the family who can afford these things and my grandkids would suffer if I didn't.
So take your comment about the greediest generation and shove it up your ass.

I wasn't calling you out personally. But I stand by my comment. When the boomers came into power the income gap started growing exponentially. Likewise under their leadership working wages shrunk. When they got into political power the debt began growing at previously unseen rates as they made policy to benefit their boomer buddies big corporations. Before boomers small business owners made modest livings. Small business owner boomers took the cue from big business boomers and kept wages down so they could increase that modest wage into upper class living.

If you think greed just started with baby boomers, you are ignoring history. Unless you think war, slavery, sweatshops and children performing dangerous jobs for 10 or 12 hours a day is okay.
When you call out an entire generation that I'm part of, you are calling me out personally.
I stand by my statement as well.
