Things that make you go hmmmmmm.

QuoteA whistleblower who accused Boeing of ignoring safety flaws in the 737 MAX airplanes has died.

Joshua Dean, a former Spirit AeroSystems quality auditor, claimed he was fired for flagging concerns about lax standards at the company's manufacturing plant in Wichita, Kansas.

His sudden death at the age of 45 on Tuesday came after suffering from a fast-spreading infection, according to his family and lawyer.

IMO, They couldn't have two suicides in a row. That would make too much controversy. A fast acting infection definitely less suspicious than a random mugging/murder.

Does the guys family suspect foul play?

I've barely heard anything about this. Sounds like he has MRSA?

"Dean had been hospitalized with Influenza B and MRSA, and developed pneumonia, according to a Facebook post from his mother. His condition quickly deteriorated and he was transferred to a hospital in Oklahoma City.

There, he was put on an ECMO machine, which pumps blood outside the body and circulates oxygenated blood, taking over the function of the heart and lungs and allowing other organs to heal. He was also undergoing dialysis. It was soon discovered after a CT scan that Dean suffered a stroke.

Prior to his hospitalization, Dean was said to be "in good health and was noted for having a healthy lifestyle," according to The Seattle Times, which first reported his death."

45 year old men in good health who have a healthy lifestyle don't just drop dead.

The cynic in me doesn't believe in coincidences, and the weaponization of disease IS actually a thing, so yeah, it probably will never be proven, but someone in his position could easily be taken out.

His family is suspicious.

It was a stunning turn of events for Dean and his family. Green says he was very healthy — someone who went to the gym, ran nearly every day and was very careful about his diet.

"This was his first time ever in a hospital," she said. "He didn't even have a doctor because he never was sick."

But within days, Dean's kidneys gave out and he was relying on an ECMO life support machine to do the work of his heart and lungs. The night before Dean died, Green said, the medical staff in Oklahoma did a bronchoscopy on his lungs.

"The doctor said he'd never seen anything like it before in his life. His lungs were just totally ... gummed up, and like a mesh over them."

Green says she has asked for an autopsy to determine exactly what killed her son. Results will likely take months, she said.

"We're not sure what he died of," she said. "We know that he had a bunch of viruses. But you know, we don't know if somebody did something to him, or did he just get real sick."

45 year old men that appear to be healthy do drop dead suddenly. Just because someone is fit does not mean they do not have heart/CAD issues and or some kind of cancer.

As to the MRSA infection. In the 5 years I have been regularly training at BJJ gyms, I have seen two extremely healthy guys get a MRSA infection and end up in the hospital in pretty serious condition. IIRC Ron aka crazy millman was in his 40's when he ended up in the hospital from MRSA. MRSA is no joke.

That being said, I suspect foul play here as well.

They are the exceptions, not the rule.

And in this case, there are enough extenuating circumstances to suspect foul play.
