Anyone have this issue before and know how to fix it?

This is a new PC from Dell and the install goes fine. When they try to launch Mastercam they get "The code execution cannot procede because vcruntime140_1.dll was not found".

I'm running windows 10 on my PC here and have never had this issue. Their PC is running the Windows 11 PRO version.

Can you explain it better? Like you're trying to explain it to a 5 year old? Then I might understand.  ;D

It means the program depends on an assembly that was built with visual studio 2015, that's 4 versions out of date (currently 2022)

Visual studio is a Microsoft software that turns code into the dlls and exe assemblies

There is a runtime for each visual studio version, Microsoft stops including them in new builds that's why they need to be downloaded for old softwares or softwares that use an outdated component
