I don't know anything about them but they sure look cool. (and expensive)
I saw a hyperMill driven Grob running at Westec about 10 years ago that was absolutely breath taking.

I've tried to use some speeds and feeds for kennametal facemills from one of their videos. It was pretty impressive but the inserts didn't last very long.

We were removing about 300lbs of titanium from a decent size block. We called Kennametal to come in and see if they had any suggestions to get a good combination of tool life and material removal rates.  When the guy came in and saw the speeds and feeds his first comment was "stop watching titan video's".

I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

Yeah on those speeds and feeds they tout, it's a classic case of "just because you can doesn't mean you should".
Sure I can run any end mill 2-3 times as fast as I do now but they sure as hell going to get the same tool life.

That's because you didn't yell BOOM! and act like an idiot.  ::)
Those inserts need to know they're special.

Ok i will give you that...

but the basketball net is still more impressive (IMHO). Longer tools, Way tighter clearances through the net....

I'd never seen the basketball net so I just looked it up. The whole time they were reaching thru the net I was like "why don't they use a shorter tool and come in from the top, ya know, the side with the huge opening?"
