Morning boys

Dont know how much the boys have told you about our adventure the last 7-8 months but were starting to see a bit
of normal back in our lives.
Still an uphill battle but getting better for sure

In case you dont know:
Oct 17th Anita had open heart surgery to replace her Aortic valve. (stenosis)
8 hr surgery was flawless, we were told to go home and they would wake her later that evening.
About 2 hrs later the Dr called to say she was having seizures due to an air embolism
and would be going into a hyperbaric chamber.
Turned out to be 3 dives in the hyperbaric chamber over the next 18 hrs

Couldnt get her stable enough for an MRI for 3.5 wks ,finally found out she had 2 strokes.
Long story short
6.5 wks in a coma, 54 days in critical care unit and 2.5 months total in the hospital
By Gods grace my girl is still with me
Walking talkin and getting stronger by the day
She did'nt leave the hospital til Dec29

Lots of therapy and slow steady progress.
She is a walking miracle, and literally should not be here today.

I knew Anita had been through a lot, but I wasn't aware of so much.

So glad to hear she is on the mend and progressing well Steve. Please send her our regards.

The strength of your relationship would have no doubt contributed to her improvement!
