How did the guy get in one of their commercials ?

They may have spotted him as a potential useful idiot and started grooming him for later use.

They screwed up when Oswald was allowed to make statements to the press, so they made sure this time.

Trump is supposed to be dead now, and the supposed 'investigation' would likely drag on for decades, just like the Kennedy hit.

the video is a for a school program that Blackrock runs.

FWIW I think there are a few possible scenarios here.

1. Blackrock identified him and actively recruited him to be the assassin. This is a straight up Tom Clancy novel type nefarious sh!t.

2. He was a mentally compromised individual and the exposure from randomly being involved in the Blackrock video aided/contributed to his radicalization that lead to him deciding to try to assassinate Trump. 

3. purely coincidental.

IMO it is a mix of number 2 and 3. If Blackrock/Biden/etc. wanted to assassinate Trump they would sure as hell pick a better shooter than him. I also think the SS/police failures are a combination of DEI hires, biased leadership, and police "paralysis". I think the SS leadership intentionally reduced trumps protection and put their least capable SS personnel. I think the police are generally afraid to engage until they are sure their ass will be covered. Too many cops being charged with murder for stopping "would Be" criminals.

Remember, since this kid was 20 years old in 2024, he has been hearing constant rhetoric from the mainstream media and the Democrats since he was 12 years old (2016) about how Trump is pure evil, and the very incarnation of Adolf Hitler.

It wouldn't take much coaxing to convince a useful idiot he was doing the world a favor by eliminating the next Hitler, so here we are...

I would add more recently the fake Russian dossier hoax from the 2016 election, and most recently the Hunter Biden laptop that the so-called 'experts' assured us was 'Russian disinformation', until it wasn't.

The Secret Service is like every other Government Agency. Full of bureaucracy check lists, procedures, etc... It why NOBODY is ever held accountable for the failures. "We followed all the written procedures...". So it's nobody's fault, it's the procedure's fault. It'sa why that indignant DEI failure of a Secret Service Chief can never be held accountable. Until "the Thou shalt not allow unsecured LOS high ground within XXXX meters/yards of the protectee..." makes it into the regs and becomes a checkbox item.

Yeah, people that work for government ARE that stupid AND weasliy.

It's why the Public School System in the US is in the state it's in and nobody is ever held accountable. There's no metric for incompetence so EVERYONE skates.
